PHRASAL VERB FRIDAY: DRAG DOWN: meaning and examples

Good morning and happy Friday, DV readers! I hope you had an exceptionally nice week.

We are ending the week with the phrasal verb TO DRAG (SOMEONE) DOWN

Definition: to make someone feel unhappy or ill. 

Example 1: Watching the news drags me down

Example 2: There is one employee at our company who really drags the office down. She's so negative. 

Example 3: This flu is really dragging me down. I hope I recover soon.
