PHRASAL VERB FRIDAY: 'FOLLOW UP': meaning and examples

For today's Phrasal Verb Friday, we are looking at the verb TO FOLLOW UP

Definition: an action that continues or repeats an action before it. 

Example 1: She followed up the meeting with an email. 

Example 2: The doctor said I should follow the surgery up with two more appointments. 

Example 3: We will follow up this lesson with some practice questions. 

This phrasal verb is TRANSITIVE and SEPARABLE
