PHRASAL VERB FRIDAY: "TAKE ON"

Good morning. Happy Friday to you all! I hope your week has been a nice one. 

For today's Phrasal Verb Friday, we are looking at the phrasal verb TO TAKE ON. 

Definition: to accept a new responsibility.

Example 1: The attorney took on two new clients. 

Example 2: Since I took on this new project, I have been really busy!

Example 3: Don't take on too much... you will become stressed. 

This phrasal verb is separable and transitive. 

Example 4: I wasn't very skilled at this subject when I took this project on. Now I'm a pro.
