Definition 1: To break into pieces (literal or figuratively).
Example 1: This shirt fell apart after I washed it. Look at these holes!
Example 2: The project fell apart after the company decided not to invest in our idea.
Definition 2: To become emotionally unstable (emotional).
Example 3: She fell apart after the tragic accident. It was a very sad time in her life.
