PHRASAL VERB FRIDAY: TO PICK (SOMETHING) OUT

Happy Friday vitamineros! I hope you have had a wonderful week. We are ending this week's lessons with a post on the phrasal verb TO PICK OUT (something). 

Definition: to choose or select something. 

Example 1: I picked out a blue sweater for tonight's dinner. 

Example 2: Sometimes I pick books out based on their covers. Sometimes it doesn't work very well.

Example 3: Did you pick out a gift for your brother's birthday?

Notice that this phrasal verb is SEPARABLE and TRANSITIVE.
