PHRASAL VERB FRIDAY: TURN INTO: meaning and examples
Definition: to become something; to be transformed into something.
Example 1: If you get bit by a vampire, then you turn into a vampire too.
Example 2: Folklore says that he turns into a werewolf when there is a full moon.
And of course, we can use this for non-Halloween situations too.
Example 3: My experiences volunteering in India really turned me into the person I am today.
Example 4: After having a baby, I turned into a much more responsible person.
As you can see from the examples, this phrasal verb is TRANSITIVE and it is SEPARABLE.
