Since Monday, we have been looking at Phrasal Verbs for Business. Today's phrasal verb is TO BEEF (something) UP.
Definition: To make something stronger or more solid.
Example 1: We beefed up the proposal before submitting it.
Example 2: We need to try to beef sales up next quarter.
Example 3: I don't like this internship, but I'm trying to beef up my CV.
This phrasal verb is transitive and optionally separable.
