PHRASAL VERBS FOR RELAXING (TAKE TIME OUT): meaning and examples

Welcome back, readers! And happy Friday to you.

Today is our last lesson for the Phrasal-Verbs-for-Relaxing week.

To tell you the truth, this next one isn’t technically a phrasal verb, but it's an idiom for relaxing. It's the phrase TO TAKE TIME OUT (to do something / for something)

Definition: To set aside time to do something important, usually something that benefits you mentally.

Example 1: Our days are busy, but we always take time out to watch the sunset

Example 2: You need to remember to take time out for yourself, even when you have so much to do for your family.

Example 3: My boss always takes time out to ask us how we are doing. It's very kind of her.

That's all for this week. Did you learn a new way to express relaxation? I hope so; and I hope that you have a great weekend and can take some time out to do something you love.
