PHRASAL VERBS WITH JACK: JACK UP (2)

Today is part two of our three-part lesson on the phrasal verb TO JACK (SOMETHING) UP. 

Definition 2: To raise a car to do mechanical work. The device used to raise a car is called a JACK.

Example 1: He jacked up the car to change the tire.
