Definition: To begin something again; to begin at the beginning.Â
Example 1: We burned the cookies, so we had to start over again.
Example 2: I didn't understand the instructions; I'm sorry. Could you please start over?
Example 3: I forgot to save my work on my computer, so I have to start over.
This phrasal verb is intransitive.Â
