PHRASES FOR AGREEING WITH PEOPLE: meaning and examples

For the rest of this week, we are going to look at different phrases and expressions used to agree with people

So, of course, you can always say I agree. But here are a couple of other options. 

That's True.
You're right.

Example 1:
Jack: Don't you think you're being a bit hard on Mary? Her market research wasn't perfect, but she presented lots of information that was very useful. 
Dan: You're right... I'm going to call her right now and apologize. Thank you for pointing this out to me. I was a bit hard on her. 

Example 2:
Dan: Mary, I'm sorry for being so critical of your marketing research. I did feel there were some things missing, but what you presented was excellent. I was a bit hard on you. I'm sorry. 
Mary: That's true... you were a bit hard on me; but I appreciate your apology. Thank you!
