PHRASES FOR AGREEING WITH PEOPLE
PHRASES FOR AGREEING WITH PEOPLE: meaning and examples
Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin everyone. I hope you are having a great day.
For the rest of this week, we are going to look at different phrases and expressions used to agree with people.
So, of course, you can always say I agree. But here are a couple of other options.
⇒ That's True.
⇒ You're right.
Example 1:
Jack: Don't you think you're being a bit hard on Mary? Her market research wasn't perfect, but she presented lots of information that was very useful.
Dan: You're right... I'm going to call her right now and apologize. Thank you for pointing this out to me. I was a bit hard on her.
Example 2:
Dan: Mary, I'm sorry for being so critical of your marketing research. I did feel there were some things missing, but what you presented was excellent. I was a bit hard on you. I'm sorry.
Mary: That's true... you were a bit hard on me; but I appreciate your apology. Thank you!
