PHYSICAL APPEARANCE (ATHLETIC)

Hello everyone. Happy Monday to you. I hope you had a great weekend! Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin.

This week we are going to look at words we use to describe people's physical appearance. Our hope is that learning these words will help you to improve your descriptions of people's physical appearance.

Today's first word is: athletic

Meaning: Having a strong, in shape, muscular body.

Example 1: Because he played so many sports when he was young, he still has an athletic build, despite being 60-years old. 

Today's second word is: freckles

Meaning: Small brownish spots on the skin.

Example 2: Her face is covered with freckles, which (in my opinion) make her even more attractive.
