PULL EXPRESSIONS-4: meaning and examples

Today we complete our look at expressions with the verb pull.
Today's first expression is: to pull your weight
Meaning: to work as hard as everyone else in a job, project or other activity.
Example 1:
The rest of the team complained that Jack was not pulling his weight.
Today's second expression is: to pull something off (informal)
Meaning: to succeed in doing something difficult.
Example 2:
After a lot of complicated negotiations, we managed to pull off the deal.
Example 3:
Great job Nancy. I never thought you'd pull it off, but you finished the report in less than 24 hours!
