Today we are going to look at a word that we use when we talk about the size of things. It can be a verb or an adjective.
Today's word is: Quadruple
Meaning 1 (verb): to become four times as large, or to multiply a number or amount by four.
Sentence 1: During the pandemic she was able to quadruple her income by providing services for people who could not leave their homes.
Meaning 2 (adjective): four times as big
Sentence 2: In Ziggurat we have quadrupled the number of teachers due to the high demand for language classes.
