RELIGION IDIOMS (SPEAK OF THE DEVIL)

Today we present our last religion-related expression/idiom of the week. I hope you have been enjoying these expressions.

Today's expression is: To speak of the Devil

Definition: something you say when the person you were talking about appears unexpectedly. 

Example 1: Oh, John...speak of the devil. We were just talking about you. Would you be able to help Mike with the new marketing campaign? 

Example 2: Lisa, did you hear what happened to Anna yesterday? Oh, speak of the devil... here she is. Hello Anna!
