RING-4: meaning and examples

Good morning once again.

Today we finish our study of expressions with the English word RING.

Today's expression is: to give someone a ring (informal)

Meaning: an informal way of saying to make a telephone call to someone.

Example 1:
She told him that she was going to give him a ring the following day, but she never called.

Example 2:
I'll give you a ring tomorrow. I don't have time to talk now. Okay?
