Today our phrase is TO CLOSE (a sale).
Definition: To complete a sale.
Example 1: We are hoping to close the sale by Friday.
Example 2: When does the sale close?
Example 3: I get a lot of people who are interested in buying my car, but I can't seem to close the sale.
NOTE: We do not need to use the word "sale" if the other person knows that we are referring to the closing of the sale.
Example 4: Will you close today?
