SORT-3: meaning and examples

Hello everyone.

Today we continue our study of the English word SORT, by looking at an expression. Next week we will look at more SORT expressions.

Today's expression is: to sort through something

Meaning
: to look through a number of things, either to find something or simply to put them in order.

Example 1:
Before beginning my day, I decided to sort through my paperwork. While I was doing it, I found all sorts of documents that I had lost.

Example 2:
She spent almost an hour sorting through her suitcase to find somethign to wear.
