SPORTS-RELATED EXPRESSIONS (BE A GOOD SPORT)

Good morning / afternoon / evening everyone, depending on when you are reading this. I hope you had a great weekend. Happy Monday to all of you! 

This week we will look at five more idioms / expressions related to sports. 

Today's sports-related expression is: To be a good sport

Definition: to be someone who is kind or generous.

Example 1: Come on Mark... be a good sport and let him play with you guys.  

Example 2: I don't like playing chess with him, because when he loses, he is not a very good sport. 

I hope all of you tend to be good sports in situations where things don't turn out how you would have liked.
