SPORTS-RELATED EXPRESSIONS (LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD)

Today is our last lesson of the week, and we will look at another expression related to sports. 

Today's sports-related expression is: To level the playing field

Definition: to make a situation fair for everyone.

Example 1: Some feel that the government needs to revise the tax code to level the playing field for all companies 

Example 2: The point of this change in policy is to level the playing field for those in our company who have typically found it difficult to be considered for promotions.
