Happy Friday, readers! It's our last day of the Synonyms-for-"Interesting" week.
Today we are looking at the word ENGROSSING.
Definition: to take all of one's attention or interest.
Example 1: The book was so engrossing that I read it in four hours. I forgot to eat lunch!
Example 2: The kids really enjoyed their science project. You could tell that it was really engrossing to study the insects and learn about them.
Example 3: The movie was so engrossing that I didn't hear my phone ring.
