SYNONYMS FOR 'WANT' (DESIRE)

Today we look at our fourth synonyms for the verb TO WANT.

Today's WANT synonym is: To desire

Definition: to want something very much.

Example 1: I don't understand why you didn't accept the job offer. It included everything you desired on a professional level: growth, a challenge, a great salary, close to home, etc.

Example 2: If you want to reach a big goal, you must really desire it. If the desire isn't strong enough, you won't have the persistence necessary to reach the goal.
