Our first WANT synonym of the week is: To yearn
Definition: to wish very strongly, especially for something that you cannot have or something that is very difficult to have, or something that one has lost or been separated from.
Example 1: Sometimes she yearns to be alone at the weekend, after working all week with so many colleagues.
Example 2: He yearned for the days when he was at university and had more free time and fewer worries.
