SYSTEMATIC VOCABULARY LEARNING-3
SYSTEMATIC VOCABULARY LEARNING-3: meaning and examples
Hello again everyone!
Today we continue with ideas that will help you to systematise your vocabulary learning. Today's suggestion is one that all of you have probably used at some time or another, and it's very effective.
FLASHCARDS
Flashcards are small cards with words that you want to learn printed on them. Putting new words on small flashcards to review them at just about anytime during the day can be very helpful.
Cut a DIN A4 piece of paper into 16 pieces (of approximately 7.5cm x 5.0cm). On one side of each piece of paper write the English word that you want to memorise. On the opposite side write the translation and/or a sentence using the word. You can use these flashcards to quickly test yourself throughout the day, no matter where you are, since they are easy to carry with you.
If you haven't tried using flashcards before, I highly recommend it.
