TBA (TO BE ANNOUNCED)

Happy Wednesday everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope you are having an excellent day. 

As you know, this week we are looking at a type of abbreviation that is called an initialism, a special type of abbreviation

Today's 1st Initialism is: TBA

Meaning TBA: To be announced

While TBA is mostly seen in writing, it can also be spoken in certain contexts, especially in professional or casual discussions about upcoming events and activities.

Sentence 1: The date for the next company retreat is still TBA, but we should have an update by next week. 

Today's 2nd Initialism is: DNS

Meaning DNS: Domain Name System (used in internet technology)

Sentence 2: The website isn’t loading. I think it might be a DNS issue. Let's try switching to Google’s DNS and see if that helps.
