TENSE TUESDAY: THE FUTURE PERFECT FOR COMPLETED ACTION: meaning and examples
Here is the formula for the Future Perfect:
WILL HAVE PAST PARTICIPLE
We use this tense to talk about something that will be completed by a specific time in the future. We use BY A POINT IN TIME to express this relationship.
Example 1: By 12:00 tomorrow, I will have finished this project.
Example 2: I will have lived in London for three years by 2015.
We can also omit the phrase BY and use THIS TIME in casual conversation.
Example 3: This time next week, we will have arrived in Paris.
Example 4: This time tomorrow, my Mom's plane will have landed.
