Today is our twenty-first day of the 2024 Alphabet-Game contest and our missing word begins with the letter U. Below is today's sentence.

Sentence: She began the tennis tournament as an u_____, but in the end she was victorious. She won the tournament. Nobody thought that she would win!

Hint: We looked at this word in a Daily Vitamin lesson from the 2021-2022 academic year, in February of 2022.
