THE ALPHABET GAME (A)
THE ALPHABET GAME (A): meaning and examples
Welcome back, everyone!
Today is the first day of our annual Daily Vitamin Alphabet Game. As always, we are offering great prizes for the winners: see yesterday's email about the details!
The game works like always: each day, we give you a sentence that is missing a word. The missing word will begin with one letter of the alphabet. We will give you hints to help you guess the correct word. The people with the most correct answers at the end of 26 days will win.
IMPORTANT: To participate (and win one of the prizes), you should:
1) be a follower of at least one of our social media sites (either Facebook or Twitter).
2) share the initial contest post (May 26th) on at least one of our social media sites.
3) post the correct answer on one of our social media sites each day.
Here is today's sentence. Its missing word begins with the letter A:
Sentence: Can you please a____________ this payment?
Here are some hints:
Hint 1: It means "to give official approval or permission."
Hint 2: It is often used in more formal situations.
Hint 3: It is similar to the word "approve."
Give us your answer on Facebook or Twitter. We will provide the correct answer later. We will also include the answer in the next Daily Vitamin email.
Good luck!
