THE ALPHABET GAME (X)

Welcome back, Alphabet Game participants! 

It's our last week of lessons, and we have come to the letter X. It's such an uncommon letter of the alphabet that we often have to give you a word that does not begin with X but has X in the word. 

That is the case today. Here is today’s sentence. 

Sentence: We have begun some ___x___ procedures, but we do not know when things will go back to "normal."

Hint 1: It means "a slow return to normal life after living with COVID-related restrictions."

Hint 2: It is a combination of two words. 

Hint 3: It is a play on the word for the UK leaving the European Union.
