THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY
THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY: meaning and examples
Good morning everybody, Most students know how to say yesterday, today and tomorrow, but they have problems when they want to refer to two days ago (not yesterday) or two days into the future (not tomorrow). Today's expressions are : the day before yesterday (anteayer) and the day after tomorrow (pasado mañana) Example 1: The day before yesterday (April 24th) was Sunday. Example 2: We are going out to dinner the day after tomorrow to celebrate our anniversary. When we want to refer to a day that is further into the past than the day before yesterday or further into the future than the day after tomorrow we usually use the day of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, ...) or the exact date (April 19th). Example 3: Last Friday, April 22 I went to the cinema with my wife. If you have any questions about these very common time expressions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Enjoy your day!
