THEME THURSDAY: 'AS...AS' EXPRESSIONS (BUSY AS A BEE): meaning and examples

Hello everyone and welcome to the first Theme Thursday lesson of February!

This month, we are looking at "as . . . as" expressions that we use in English. We first looked at the form of "as . . . as" expressions on Tuesday. 

Today we are looking at the expression AS BUSY AS A BEE.

Definition: used to describe a very busy person. 

Example 1: She works two jobs and has three kids. She's as busy as a bee

Example 2: The restaurant was full, so the waiter was as busy as a bee!
