THEME THURSDAY: EXPRESSIONS WITH DANCE (TWO LEFT FEET): meaning and examples
Hello everyone!
Welcome to our first Theme Thursday of July. This month, we are looking at EXPRESSIONS RELATED TO DANCE. The first expression that we are looking at is TO HAVE TWO LEFT FEET.
Definition: a way to describe a person who is a bad dancer.
Example 1: I took dance lessons because I had two left feet when I danced! Now I've improved.
Example 2: He is nervous about dancing at the wedding because he thinks he has two left feet.
Do you HAVE TWO LEFT FEET when you dance? Many of us do; I hope that doesn't stop you from dancing when you feel like it.
