Idiom 1: To take the fall (for someone)
Definition: To take the blame for something you did not do (so you can save someone else from punishment).
Example 1: I took the fall for my brother when he broke my mom's glasses.
Idiom 2: Fall on deaf ears
Definition: When someone does not listen to you.
Example 2: My complaints fell on deaf ears. The company still has not replaced my broken TV.
