THEME THURSDAY: OSCAR VOCABULARY (NOD)

For February's Theme Thursday, we are looking at Oscar-related vocabulary. We are ending this month's theme with the word NOD.

Definition: an Oscar nomination.

Example 1: He got an Oscar nod for his role as a drug addict who changes his life. 

Example 2: They think she will get an Oscar nod for her latest movie. 

Example 3: He has been working in Hollywood for 20 years and has never had an Oscar nod.
