This week, we are looking at the Portmanteaus GUESSTIMATE. This word is derived from the combination of the words GUESS and ESTIMATE.
Definition: an approximate calculation of the size or amount of something when you do not know all the facts.
Example 1: My guesstimate is that the cake is done. You can take it out of the oven.
Example 2: What's your guesstimate on the sales this quarter?
