Meaning: We can use this phrase as a response to someone who expresses gratitude or thanks, to indicate that our actions were not important or significant.
Example 1:
Mrs. Stone: Thank you so much for helping me up the stairs with my bags, Leah.
Leah: Think nothing of it, Mrs. Stone. They hardly weighed anything and I was going upstairs anyway!
Example 2:
Janet: Paul, I really appreciate you offering to work the weekend shift tomorrow.
Paul: Think nothing of it, Janet. I wasn't doing anything special anyway; and I could use the extra money!
