TO BE UP TO DATE

Today we look at an English expression that we use quite a lot. 

Today's expression is: TO BE UP TO DATE

Meaning: when something contains the latest information or is recent and modern we say that it is UP TO DATE.

Example 1: Please make sure that the software on your computer is up to date so that you can take advantage of the latest features and security improvements.

Example 2: The technology journal provides up-to-date information about the latest advancements in technology.
