TO GHOST (SLANG): meaning and examples

Today's slang verb is: to ghost

Meaning: To suddenly cut off all communication with someone.

Example 1: I went out with Janet three times. I thought things were going well, but after our third date, she ghosted me!  

Example 2: I don't understand why you ghosted me! I've always been upfront and transparent with you.
