Today's Idiomatic Expression is: to have a field day

It means: to have the chance to do something that you enjoy a lot, especially when it causes trouble for someone else. It's often used to refer to the activity of criticising someone.

Example 1
The newspapers are having a field day with the rumours of the famous actor's love affairs.

Example 2
Now that things are going badly in the country, the press is having a field day criticising the President.
