Good morning, Today's expression is: to mean business (Pronunciation: BIZ-nes) It is used: to say that you are very serious about something that you say or that you have to do Example 1 Mother: George! Have you cleaned you room yet? I meant business when I said that you couldn't watch TV until you did! George: Awwww, mum! Can't I do it tomorrow? Mother: No! Now means now! Example 2 Lucy has given away most of her books and music CDs. She's also thrown away half of her wardrobe (ropa) and she plans to sell her car.
