TONGUE TWISTERS-3: meaning and examples

Hello again everyone. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope you are having a great day!

Today we look at another popular tongue twister in English. I think this was probably the first tongue twister that I learned when I was a child.

Today's tongue twister is: Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. How many pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick?

As usual, if you listen to the sound file of this lesson, you can hear me pronouncing this tongue twister as quickly as possible three times in a row.

1) Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. How many pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick?
2) Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. How many pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick?
3) Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. How many pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick?

Now it's your turn. Try to say this tongue twister three times quickly.

And, of course, if you are feeling like having a little fun today, then I encourage you to record yourself saying this phrase as fast as you can three times, and then send the audio file to Ziggurat's WhatsApp account ( 34 652 387 880). Enjoy the activity, there is no obligation to send the file, but we do think it's important to have fun with these tongue twisters

Enjoy the rest of your day and we'll see you tomorrow.

All the best!
