TRAVEL VOCAB: ONE-WAY TICKET: meaning and examples

As you know, our theme this week is Travel Vocabulary and today we are looking at the expression ONE-WAY TICKET.
Definition 1: A ticket to a destination (without the return ticket).
Example 1: We bought one-way tickets because we don't know when we are returning. We have to stay until the project is completed.
Definition 2 (figurative): No return.
Example 2: He stole a car and crashed it into a police officer's car. It looks like he bought himself a one-way ticket to jail.
Example 3: Those shoes are a one-way ticket to the land of bad fashion.
