USE VISUALIZATION AND AFFIRMATIONS

Hello again everyone. I hope you are having a good day. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin!

As you know, in this week's lessons we are looking at key points related to learning a language. We are giving you tips that could help to make your learning more efficient.

So far this week we've spoken about responsibility and decision (Monday), consistency (Tuesday), the Knowing-Doing Gap (Wednesday) and today we speak about your mindset, which is the most important factor of all.  

Your mindset influences your success in learning English. If you don't fully believe that you can learn English, then it will be very difficult for you to learn. Belief is key! To create belief, it can be helpful to repeat ideas to ourselves, either aloud, silently in our minds or by writing them down. Affirmations like "if I work a bit every day, I can learn English faster than I ever have" or "I love practicing English and I am improving every day" can help change your mindset. You don't have to fully believe these affirmations when you start, but you have to repeat them with the feeling that they are possible. 

Homework
👉 Take five minutes today to visualize yourself confidently using English. Imagine presenting in a meeting, chatting with friends, or enjoying a movie without subtitles.
👉 Pair this with positive affirmations like: “I am improving my English every day, and I enjoy the process.” Write your affirmation on a sticky note and place it where you’ll see it often.

Repeating affirmations and visualizing success helps reprogram your mind, making you more confident and motivated to reach your goals.
