As you probably know, this week we are learning Verb Preposition Combinations. Today's combination is SPEND ON.
Definition: To put time or money or effort into something.
Example 1: I spend a lot of money on travel, but it's worth it.
Example 2: What did you spend your birthday money on?
Example 3: I spent my bonus paycheque on a new sofa.
Example 4: I spent a lot of time on this project.
