VOCABULARY FOR TRUTH (THE JURY IS (STILL) OUT)

Good morning / afternoon / evening everyone, depending on when you are reading this. Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin. I hope you are having an excellent week so far.

As you know, this week we are looking at words and expressions that are used to talk about truth, or the lack of truth. 

Today's expression is: The jury is (still) out

Definition: If you say that the jury is out or that the jury is still out on a particular subject, you mean that people in general have still not made a decision or formed an opinion about that subject.

Example 1: The jury is still out on whether the new marketing campaign will succeed. 

Example 2: Was he a good leader? The jury is still out on that question.
