Today we are looking at the expression: A CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK

Definition: Someone who resembles their parent in character or appearance.

Example 1: Your son looks just like you! He's a chip off the old block.

Example 2: Your daughter certainly is a chip off the old block. She looks and acts just like you.
