I should point out that this expression could be considered blasphemous to some.

Definition: An exclamation of alarm, amazement, or exasperation.

Example 1: Sweet Mary, mother of God... how much money did you spend last night?!

Example 2: You got ANOTHER cat? Sweet Mary, mother of God...

Example 3: Sweet Mary, mother of God... the children wrote all over the walls!
