WORD FORM CHALLENGE: POWER
WORD FORM CHALLENGE: POWER: meaning and examples
Happy Monday to you all! How was your weekend?
This week's lessons will be fun, I hope. We are calling it the Word-Form Challenge. We are giving you one word and you must use this word to complete three different sentences. You will have to use a different form of the word for each sentence. This means you might have to add suffixes or prefixes. You also might have to change the word into a noun, adjective, adverb, etc.
Today your word is POWER. Can you think of three different forms of the word POWER to complete the sentences below?
Sentence 1: There was nothing we could do to stop them from destroying the old, historic building. We felt ______.
Sentence 2: You said some very _____ things in your speech.
Sentence 3: How can we _____ today's youth?
Leave us your answers on one of our social media pages (Facebook or Twitter) and we will post the correct answer later. We will also include the answer in tomorrow's Daily Vitamin email.
Best of luck to you!
