Welcome back, everyone! And happy Wednesday to you. How is your work week going? Do you feel like you have a lot to do? Maybe TOO much to do? If so, today's word will be useful. Our Wordy Wednesday vocabulary is the adjective SWAMPED

Definition
: to be overwhelmed with an excessive amount of something (often work). 

Example 1: I just can't write this report. I already have to write three other reports. I'm swamped!

Example 2: Work was slow... and then we were swamped with emails and calls at noon. It was crazy!

Example 3: I am swamped with paperwork today!
