WORDY WEDNESDAY: TO BROOD OVER: meaning and examples

Today for Wordy Wednesday we are looking at the phrase TO BROOD OVER (SOMETHING)

Definition: to think deeply about something that makes you unhappy, angry, or worried.

Example 1: Stop brooding over your team's loss. It's just a game.

Example 2: At the beginning of Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is brooding over his love, Rosaline. 

Example 3: She won't stop brooding over her fight with her boyfriend.
